- AAP TRACK Asthma Project.

We are using these projects to improve our systems, methods, and content of state of the art care to our families.
- AACPP has been recognized in Berks County as a resource for children with special abilities since 1991. We have participated in the National AAP Medical home project since 1992 and now participate in of the Pennsylvania Academy of Pediatrics Medical Home Initiative to provide outstanding services for care of children with special health care needs (autism, diabetes, mental challenges, asthma, cystic fibrosis, foster care, etc)
- 8 pediatricians with more than 100 years combined experience and four nurse practitioners with more than 60 years combined experience to children all over the United States take time to discuss concerns with families, work with them on concerns, and provide education.
- Our Care Coordinator and Intake Specialists work with families to obtain care and resources appropriate for their needs. Children and young adults receive extra tender loving care from our friendly and courteous staff.
- AACPP participates with all insurances including Tricare to support families of our service personnel whose duty is to preserve peace and support justice.
- Language line is available for quality translation services.
- Plenty of free parking adjacent to the office and bus stop 2 blocks away.
- Free vaccines for children are available on site (no need to go to a second site). We piloted the Vaccines for Children Program for the state of Pennsylvania many years ago!
- Our four nurses are especially skilled and helpful to parents. When you call, you can reach your nurse directly. She will contact your physician or nurse practitioner if your question is beyond her scope of knowlege.
- Physicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for urgent/emergency problems – and open the office or visit the ER/hospital if necessary outside our normal office hours.
- AACPP was the first private practice Reach Out and Read site in the nation - since 1996 children of all ages (not just birth to 5 years old) have received new books or National Geographic magazines at their checkups.
- Asthma education, resources, and supplies, as well as suggestions for diet, exercise, and healthy living to prevent obesity are available to all of our patients.
