Practice experience:
She started her career as an RN with AACPP in 1994 after graduating
from RHSN. Since then she has worked per diem, Part-time, and
Full-time for AACPP, taking some breaks to further her education
and expand her experiences in various aspects of healthcare,
always being drawn back to the patients and staff here at All
about Children. She has seen the office grow from a 3,000
patient, 1 building, 1 doctor practice into a 15,000 patient,

building, multi-physician and nurse practitioner group - and
we’re still growing!
Her
work experience includes, Maternal Child Health home health
care, lactation consulting, med-surg floor nursing, teaching
in
the nursing program at RACC (med-surg, pediatrics, growth and
development, & OB) as an RN and practicing as an NP in
pediatrics and family practice. She sits on the board of directors
for Pennsylvania Nurses Association. She also coordinates the
Reach Out and Read program for the office.
Certifications:
Board certified in family practice and have previously certified
in
pediatrics and lactation consulting.
She
is married with 3 boys, ages 5, 13, 15 who keep her very busy
attending sports events, practices, and music performances. She
enjoys reading, collecting teddy bears, baking, and crafting
in her
spare time. She says “I love working in healthcare. Everyday
is a
challenge. Science and technology are ever changing and there
is
always something new to be learned. Not just from science but
also
from patients. I believe a good clinician should address individual
patient needs, educate, diagnose and treat each patient/family
holistically, recognizing the challenges and experiences that
make
each one of us unique.”
Nicole
Strobel, CPNP - substitutes when our clinicians are away. Her
full
time job is as a Nurse Practitioner at Children’s Hospital
of
Philadelphia and part-time with Dr. Raylene Devine.

James Whitcomb Riley Children's Hospital/Indiana University
Hospital Clinic - 15 years - Her experience included neonatal
/premature infants, pediatric urology and children with
disabilities.

Schlesinger with Asthma management for our patients.
