OFFICE
MANAGER:
Kimberly
Bush - Office Manager since the fall of 2004. She earned
her
Bachelor ofScience Degree in Business Administration/Marketing
from
Kutztown University in 1997. Kim currently serves on the Camp
Lily Advisory
Committee. She is married and has two children who have been
under the
care of AACPP for the many years. She enjoys archery, reading
Christian
fiction books, watching movies and playing games with her children.
NURSES
- They speak with you on the telephone!:
Deb
De Groff, RN. at AACPP since 1999. She graduated with
her RN from
Parkview Memorial Hospital in Ft Wayne Indiana in 1979. Her nursing
background includes family practice, ob-gyn, geriatrics and now
pediatrics.
Her multiple talents include working for a local florist at one
time! Phone
triage, scheduling and referrals are her specialty at AACPP in
addition to
being “Head Nurse”. Deb is married and has two children. |
Patti
Richard, RN - has been a registered nurse since 1983.
She worked at Reading Hospital for 23 years - 19 years in the
Emergency Room. She has been at AACPP since May 2005, as the
nurse manager of the 5th Street office. Recently she moved to
the Penn Ave office. She coordinates all of our immunization
activities. She enjoys getting to know the children and their
families. She has 4 children, ages 36, 20, 19 and 16. A recent
move to the Lancaster County area has keep her very busy with
learning about the new area and the incredible sights of Lancaster
County. Reading drama and medical mystery novels help her fill
any spare hours. Presently her time is being spent teaching her
son to drive and helping her daughter to prepare for her daughter’s
coming baby. |
Mary
Beth Uczynski, RN, BSN- is a 2006 graduate of Alvernia
College where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
She was employed at The Reading Hospital Medical Center before
coming to AACPP, working in Emergency/Trauma/Critical Care. Mary
Beth is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor
Society, Society of Pediatric Nurses, and the Nurse Christian
Fellowship. In 2007, Mary Beth received the honor of being selected
as one of the potential nurses to travel to China to serve as
a citizen ambassador for an international nursing forum. She
has hopes of getting a Master's degree in social work and applying
that to our practice. Apart from nursing, Mary Beth enjoys singing,
playing the piano, teaching Sunday School, going to the beach,spending
time with family and friends, and her cats. She loves her job
here at AACPP and treasures the relationships she has with her
coworkers. |
BILLING:
Terri
Zettlemoyer - Billing Manager for AACPP since 2000. She
is our computer software “sysops” person. Prior to
coming to AACPP she had her own framing shop and worked for an
automobile service department. She keeps us in touch with the
world outside of medicine! Terry enjoys the people she works
with and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children,
figure skating, knitting, singing, playing guitar, and being
involved with her church and worship team. |
Betty
Mapp - Billing Assistant who came from the Radiology
Department at TRHMC to us in 2003. She is from Barbados and relocated
to the US in July 1992 with two kids Mark and Joy. Joy was also
a member of the staff from her senior year at Reading High through
college at Dickinson. She introduced us to her Mother when she
left - we are so grateful! “Miss Betty’s” gentle
firm manner and her expertise are appreciated by staff and patients
alike. She is a Christian and feels that everyone should love
and serve the Lord. She loves competition in all kinds of games
and when she loses accepts it gracefully! |
Bambi
Shingle - Billing Assistant - Graduated from Exeter
Senior High School/Health Occupations program at Oley VoTech
and BTI Medical Assistant program and worked for Dr. Robin Staebler
and St Joseph Hospital as a Medical Assistant before coming to
AACPP. She enjoys doing puzzles, going to the movies, and decorating
and planning parties in addition to spending time with her husband
and daughter. |
Kelly
McGinnis - has been our Bookkeeper since 2003. She received
her high school diploma from Governor Mifflin High School and
her Bachelors of Arts degree in Accounting from Alvernia College.
Prior to coming to work at AACPP, she worked for a CPA firm and
a Computer Consulting company. She is married and has four children.
Most of her time is spent attending the many school sporting
or music activities that her children participate in. She enjoys
reading, listening to music and most of all, just spending time
with her husband and children. |
CASE
MANAGER / CARE COORDINATOR:
Kathy
Misterkiewicz - has a BA in Liberal Arts, a Minor in Anthropology
and a Concentration in English from St. Vincent College in Latrobe,
PA. I live in Mohrsville with my husband of 17 years, Mike, and
am Mom to Michael (8/24/91-1/11/06 and my inspiration for my
Care Coordinator position), and Anmarie, 10 years old and the
sunshine of our lives. I've worked with children with special
needs in both Wilson School District and Schuylkill Valley School
District since 2002, after 15 years as a secretary. |
INTAKE
COORDINATOR:
Lisa
Branford - Started at AACPP in 2000. Graduated from
Exeter High School and Katherine Gibbs Business School certified
as an information processor. She participated for two years in
a pilot program at Reading Area Community College as a certified
Medical billing and insurance processor and is continuing her
education there to obtain a business degree. Enjoys meeting the
new patients and offering assistance. Has two children who are
her pride and joy. She enjoys longs walks and reading in her
spare time.

Stacey
Fager - Intake Coordinator and Reach Out and Read Co-Coordinator whose duties include scheduling , writing referrals, making reminder calls and
anything else needed to make the office run smoothly! She is one of the
pleasant voices on the phone when you call in . She has worked at AACPP
since 2002. She and her husband of fifteen years have an eleven-year-old
son who has come to AACPP since he was born. Before joining the AACPP
family Stacey worked as a teacher for the Reading School district for two and
one half years and then at Walmart for twelve years. She is very active in her
church including singing on the church choir . She and her husband do some
in home day care before and after school and some weekends. She enjoys
her job very much! |
RECEPTION:
Megan
Fegely - Megan has lived in Reading all her life, and
graduated from Muhlenberg High School. She started working part-time
at AACPP in 2004 during vacation times. After she graduated from
Colgate University, Hamilton, NY, she was excited to return to
AACPP full-time in 2006 as the front desk supervisor. She enjoys
working with the staff, and getting to know the patients at both
offices. Megan will be getting married in May 2008, and plans
to start her family shortly thereafter. In her spare time, Megan
enjoys reading, cooking, exercising, and volunteering at her
church. |

Cleotilde
Hernandez - Bilingual Receptionist and ChartPreparer -is astudentatKutztownUniversity majoring in Elementary/Early
childhoodeducation with a minor in Spanish will graduate December2008.She also has a daughter. At AACPP she helps scans charts
and incoming documents to the 5th street office.

Bernita Beddell - Receptionist -Returned to Reading from Maryland where she
was an Office Assistant. She is glad to be back home and a part of AACPP and we
are glad to have her.

Lexi Lis - Receptionist -Our newest staff member, recently married, came to
us from The Reading Hospital Medical Center where she was clerk on the
Pediatrics floor.

Donna Kijak - Receptionist - Left Cabelas to come to AACPP and hasn’t looked
back! We appreciate her business perspective. She takes all of our fax messages
and incoming lab work and puts them into patient charts.
Margie Fortunet - Bilingual Receptionist -
is daughter of Iris Pacheco and
studying to be a Veterinary Assistant. Her soft voice and kind manner are a
comfort to all.

Dionne
Mapp - Chart Preparation - Was recommended to us by Betty and started working
at AACPP in August 2007. She provides clerical support for the
office. She recently relocated from Barbados where her previous
career was a spa technician. She is married, a christian, and
her hobbies are cooking, reading, socializing and spending her
spare time with her husband (Betty’s son!). |

Sherrell
McCracken - Receptionist - came to us from the Loomis
Company and Aetna insurance company. She enjoys the challenge
of incorporating all of her former knowledge into her current
position. |
Iris
Pacheco - Telephone Triage - She was born and raised
in The Bronx, New York and is very close to her family. She has
worked in health care since she was 15 years old. She has 2 daughters
- the oldest graduated from Hostos High School in Mayaguez, Puerto
Rico during the five years that she spent there with her family.
She is now attending RACC with a goal of being a veternarian. The
youngest is in second grade and wants to become a paramedic like
her uncle. They are glad to be back her “on the mainland”
but learned much from their stay in Puerto Rico.

Zoraida Rolon - Zoraida has been at AACPP for 1 year doing
chart prep, and translating. She has 4 children and 4 grandchildren

MEDICAL
ASSISTANTS / TRANSLATORS

Inia
Rivera - Lead Bilingual Medical Assistant -came to us from
the office of Dr. Lazaro Pepen in 2000. She hopes to someday
take further training in nursing. Her sons, are a joy and keep
her very busy outside work time. They were born into our AACPP
family! |

Damaris
Rodriguez - Bilingual Medical Assistant - Graduated
from BTI in 2004. Previously worked at Reading OB GYN for 3 years.
Enjoys spending time with family, shopping and working with children. |

Jecenia
Rolon-Lopez - Bilingual Medical Assistant - graduated
from BTI. She has 3 children with whom she loves to play and
spend time. She came to AACPP in 2004. |

Cicely
Kelly - Medical Assistant -Has worked at AACPP since
2003, after graduating from BTI. An AACPP parent, she enjoys
her two daughters who keep her very busy outside of work.

Jenn
Ringler - Medical Assistant -Has been at AACPP since
2003. She is agraduate of Reading High School and BTI and is
attending classes towardsa career in nursing.Prior to becoming
a Medical Assistant, Jenn did Quality Control at a local battery
plant for four years. She is married with two children.

Rosa Cruz - Medical Assistant - recent BTI graduate.

Mai Dinh - Medical Assistant
One of our newest medical assistants.She is
going to nursing school at Alvernia in the Fall of 2008.

Michelle Hegyesi -Medical Assistant - formerly worked in an Optometry
office. She enjoys the change of pace at AACPP.

Carmen
Uceta - Bilingual Medical Assistant - got her associates
degree at BTI in 2006, She did her externship at The Reading
Hospital lab. She likes to play games with her children and spend
time with her family - husband and Yanieliz age 5, Erilees age
3.

CUSTODIANS
Thomas
Martz - Custodian -Father of Thomas Andrew ,has kept the Penn
Avenue office spotless and is looking forward to maintaining our new facility. |

Elena
Ungurean - Custodian -In addition to keeping the office
spotless, she was our proud gardener who maintained the small garden at the
rear entrance of the Fifth Street office and grew plants for both offices. She is
thrilled with our new facility and its prospects for gardening and cleanliness!
Her adult daughter Dorina will help her. |
